As a member of Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Rochester, CCFCS advocates for those in need throughout all stages of life, and work in partnership with faith communities of all denominations and all who are committed to addressing local needs.
The Women & Children’s Residential Program is a person-centered Christian program designed to address individual crisis situations through strengthening families. It offers a safe, comprehensive and dignified environment. This program helps women develop a plan for sustainable living which may include medical, vocational, and academic assessments as well as training in parenting, nutrition, job readiness, money management and self care.
Formerly named the Rochester Area Interfaith Hospitality Network, Family Promise is a not-for-profit, interfaith, culturally-competent organization that assists homeless families to achieve sustainable independence by supporting them with tailored services including shelter, food, personalized case management, and a diverse network of caring volunteers.
Tempro reduces homelessness for families and veterans in Monroe County through the provision of supportive services and emergency, transitional, and permanent housing.
Willow Domestic Violence Center’s mission is to prevent domestic violence and ensure every survivor has access to the services and supports needed along the journey to a safe and empowered life. Their vision is a community free from domestic violence, where healthy relationships thrive.
The YWCA of Rochester & Monroe County helps women and girls who are faced with personal crises including homelessness and teen pregnancy. They also work hard to dispel stereotypes and promote racial justice. Their goal is to empower women to regain control of their lives and get on the path to a healthy, successful future.
