Home Start Hope is a 100% volunteer run organization that relies on donations. Your generosity makes it possible for us to continue this unique service. Whether you give household items, money, or your talent, you are helping neighbors in need move forward in their lives.
The items we provide are so much more than material goods alone. It’s about a new beginning, a sense of ownership and HOPE for a brighter future. When women do better, their kids do better and ultimately our community thrives.
Many of the women we help have been through some pretty traumatic experiences and because they’re starting over, have no money for the household things that many of us take for granted. Imagine your first paycheck has to go for food, but you have nothing to cook with. Imagine you need to get ready for your first new job but don’t have a towel to take a shower with. What if you just need a warm blanket for your kid? We help with all of that! We make sure these women don’t go through it alone.
Home Start Hope is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. Donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Federal tax ID: 27-4295948
United Way designation #3375
We accept the following NEW donations (please contact Home Start Hope before delivering):
We do a lot of our shopping at Target. We love the people, the prices, and the products. If you feel like donating goods directly to the women and children who need help, now you can. You can SHOP NOW at our Target registry and order anything off the list.
We are always looking for hands to help. Witness first hand the impact Home Start Hope makes by volunteering to help a woman shop. It’s a lot of fun and we know you’ll get hooked!
